this is the package that i made for aunt no.1 for our family christmas gift exchange and the gift is wrapped inside the character’s body. the package itself can stand upright like this or it can roll back and forth on the floor. after you open the package, you can hold the cardboard face as a mask in the party. have a happy fun holidays, my dear family and friends.

a secret santa ornaments pack that i made for gift exchange.

i thought of making some cupcakes to celebrate this special vegan anniversary for jen. however, i noticed i do not have much experience in baking without egg, milk and butter. so i made a little felt cupcake instead.

it has been my family tradition to play “secret santa” every christmas and i had cousin may this year. it was not too hard for me to think of what to get for her because i know she loves making dessert. as a result, i bought her a book that she always wanted, which is sugar by anna olson. i put the book inside this felt cupcake cushion together with a cookie cutter and some candy. this was my first time making such giant cupcake and it was really fun. but while I was stitching the cupcake, i thought i probably would not want to “unwrap” or “unstitch” this gift.
